Electro-Optical Technician
In this role, you are responsible for providing engineers with support, assembly, diagnostics, aligning, testing, and configuring optical, electrical, and mechanical components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, including soldering.
- Create work instructions, assembly instructions, and test plans.
- Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, engineering sketches, plans, specifications, and test procedures.
- Test prototype assemblies and production units.
- Inspect assembled units and evaluate test results.
- Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
- Work closely with engineers and program management to meet program goals.
- Opportunities for mechanical design and software generation.
Qualifications:
- 5 years equivalent work experience or an Associate degree or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in electronics rework, mechanical assembly, and optical assembly.
- Basic understanding of electric circuits, multimeters, oscilloscopes, amp meters, and hand tools.
- Attention to detail, neatness of work performed, and being creative.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
- Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently.

Quality Technician
In this role, you will be completing inspections on incoming material, in-process products, and final assemblies as well as ensuring that quality procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of incoming components against documented drawings
- Transact item receipt of incoming material into the ERP system
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Conduct final and in process inspection of prototype assemblies and production units
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure company goals are met for on-time delivery, product quality, and workplace safety
- Assist with administration of the calibration system
- Create, process, and update quality documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents
- Provide written results of inspections performed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years equivalent work experience
- Quality oriented with a high attention to detail
- Familiarity reading engineering drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude
- Capable of prioritizing and managing time efficiently
- Knowledgeable of ERP systems; EPICOR experience desired but not required
Bonus qualifications:
- Hands on experience with inspection equipment (micrometer, comparator, height gage, etc.)
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment in a quality or manufacturing oriented role
- Familiarity with military and industry standards such as MIL-STD-810 and IPC-A-610
