Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Junior Electro-Optical Engineering Technician. In this role, you are responsible for supporting product development and manufacture of Envisions EOIR products.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test Optical, Electrical and Mechanical components with Engineering or senior technician guidance

• Assemble and Calibrate test stations.

• Troubleshoot prototype and production optical issues

• Assist with Laser Safety and hazard minimization

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Years of experience and schooling requirements:
High School Diploma, 5+ years of industry experience or Associate’s degree in Optics or related technical field

• Desired experience with Optical testing, Interferometers and MTF test benches

• Analytical skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Desired experience in Manual Machining

• Desired experience SMT soldiering
